1. The Meta in Short
This issue covers the last four full weeks of OP17 in the West, from September 20 to October 17, 2026. The last of them, the week of October 11, is the first one with the Mihawk ban in force everywhere, online and offline. Online, Mihawk was already gone by the end of September, so most of this window is the format without it. Extra Grand Battle events are left out of every number here except their own chapter: EGB is the format without rotation, where cards from every block are legal.
- RG Luffy & Ace took over the field. RG Luffy & Ace jumped to 17.3% of the seats last week, the most played deck of the week, and won 59.8% doing it. It's over 54% in every week of the window and S tier for the fourth issue running.
- Black Luffy reaches S. Black Luffy wins 54.8% over the four weeks, enough for S on the main list for the first time. It still converts worse than any other ranked leader.
- Rocks holds A, just. Rocks is still the most played deck over the window, but it hasn't won more than 52% in any week of it. The numbers alone put it a point under the A line; we kept it in A because it still places, tied for the most top cuts last week, and it's A on that week alone.
- Two Yellow leaders are knocking. Yellow Enel and Yellow Kalgara both won over 65% last week and land in A on that week. Neither is ranked on the four weeks yet.
- Extra Grand Battle gets its own chapter. Rocks and RG Luffy & Ace share the top there too, but Black Luffy, S in the main format, is a losing deck at EGB events.
- Mihawk is off the tier list for good. It's banned now, so we left it out again.
