Meta Report #0: The First Month of OP17

1. The Meta in Short

This is the first Nakama meta report. It covers the opening stretch of OP17 in the West, from August 16 to September 17, 2026. The last week in the charts only runs from September 13 to 17.

• Mihawk is the deck to beat. Almost one seat in five over the whole period, a 53% win rate and the biggest share of top cuts.
• Robin and Black Luffy are climbing. Robin went from under 2% of the field to 15% this week, more than any other leader. Black Luffy tripled to 12%.
• RG Luffy & Ace is the breakout. From 1% to 11% of the field in a month, with a 54% win rate.
• Sabo is on a rollercoaster. The most played leader when the format opened, down to 6% in early September, back to 12% in the first days of this week, and still at 48%.
• Rocks is falling back. Its play rate has halved since August, and its win rate sat under 48% in the weeks of August 30 and September 6.
