1. Introduction
Shirahoshi has always had one of the strangest leaders in the game. She can't attack. In exchange, once a turn she rests a single DON!! and drops a Neptunian from your hand as if you'd paid for it in full.
The problem was never the ceiling. It was getting there. Old Shirahoshi drew badly, had no way to swing on the turn she set up, and spent too many games holding a hand of 5-drops with nothing to do on turn 2.
EB05 fixes both halves. The new cards dig two Neptunians deep for a single DON!!, draw two for a single DON!! every turn, and give your cheap Neptunians [Rush] so the bodies you cheat out hit the turn they land. Put together, a normal turn now looks like two big characters, a search, an attack and a blocker standing back up, on five or six DON!!. That's a lot of game for a leader that never swings.
I like this deck a lot, and I think it's going to take people by surprise in the first weeks of EB05. It also has real ways to lose to itself: it can trash its own key cards, it can draw itself out of a deck, and a couple of meta decks have boards that its removal simply can't reach. All of that is in here.
